I have a confession to make: I’ve never liked the Oscars.  Especially the part where the just-announced winner spills a list of thank-yous into the microphone for their allotted 60 seconds.  I usually change the channel and come back in time to watch the next funny skit.

What I don’t like about the Oscars is that I don’t know any of the people being thanked. They may have helped Hugh Jackman become the most awesome (and sexy) star, but they don’t touch my life or my business.
