Over the last couple of months, I’ve talked a lot about what Google microdata is, and how to use microdata on your about & contact pages.
So today, let’s jump right into the juicy stuff.
How do you use microdata on your blog posts to increase your odds of being seen in Google search?
First, let me make sure we’re all on the same page. Being seen in Google search leads to more traffic, yes? And the more closely our blog post matches the search term a potential client types into Google, the higher we show up on the search results.
With me so far? Excellent.
Blog posts are one of the most popular forms of content on the internet. In fact, your blog posts are so awesome that you want people to be finding them in Google. That’s why I recorded this step-by-step video to get you started.
Once you get the hang of it, including this new microdata on each blog is totally a 5-minute thing. In fact, you can even train your virtual assistant to do it for you!
To make it super easy, I’ve include a swipe file of the code you’ll need to copy and paste. All the instructions are in the video below.
So, are you convinced that microdata is the next big thing for your website? Leave me a comment below and let me know!
And, if you get stuck at any point with implementing microdata on your website, just shoot me an email. I’m happy to help!
